A Walk Down Memory Lane

See you later, Adachi! The Shimamura family's headed to the countryside to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa. But upon reuniting with an old four-legged friend, Shimamura comes face-to-face with her past—and her fears of a painful future yet to come.

The series continue to bring a roller coaster of emotion, from cringing, to being relatable, light chuckling, feeling like giving the character hug and then feeling like the story is hugging me instead. The ending will leave fans happy

Also as always, the narrator did a fantastic job. Nothing to complaint aside from no pdf or the art fro. the light novel, and they should bundle the volume to make up for the short running time.

But for what it is, fantastic.

My heart is both cringing and happy

Immediately I felt an ache in my heart with Gon, having the pet that is your grandparents but you have a strong connection for brought back my own feelings. Didn't expect to have such a relatable experience almost break me without there being an actual painful outcome, just the impending dreadful feeling being so familiar it brought me back.
The last chapter was so great I had an audible reaction. The only complaint I have for the volume is that we have to wait for the next one.

Shimamura's introspection about mortality will hit me just as hard every single time I revisit this series, apparently. I do appreciate the author feeling "Learning how to live with the dread of inevitable loss" was an important character development moment though. It's not exactly an easy subject to integrate into a slice of life romance, but this is no normal romance and I'm glad for that.

Speaking of romance, the cover art does not lie. The festival date is absolutely as cute as it looks like it would be. The book is worth it for that alone, if you're not sold on the first half.

A seminal moment in the series as Hougetsu reflects on life and death and what makes people be nice to others. It's an exceptional work, a tremendous examination of young love, and above all else and absolute masterclasses from THE GOAT (Analise Scarpaci 🐐🐐🐐)

I've been waiting for this book ever since the audiobooks have been announced. The buildup everything was amazing and the voice actor did an amazing job capturing the moment. I know the series gets kind of wonky from here but I can't wait to see more.

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!
