And with this book, Stacy Reid bumped to the top of my regency romance list. First and foremost, however, know that you can get all four books in this series in the Wedded by Scandal collection.

“Now is not the time to use ‘full blown’ and ‘scandal’ in the same breadth.”
In my regency romance, I want precocious gals who win over growly guys with enough angst to make my heart squeeze … but not too much angst to overcome the sweet, the sass, and the steam.

“He kissed her and it was glorious.”
Perhaps I might have liked a tad more humor… Nope. I’m going to say this was the perfect blend of all the tropes I’d hate in contemporary romances, but love, love, love from jolly old London. There’s even some bodice ripping. 😜 Great pacing, awesome narration, and more than one naughty get-together for good value. This whole series delivers maximum feels.

I understand from another review that the duke is quite cold. I think it only seems that way if you’ve never met someone like that.

Other a bit too much information on the sex act, a good story nicely spaced. A lot of this genre have so much filler where we have to hear characters’ thoughts repeated over and over like we are idiots, this story didn’t so that.

I really liked the narration. I will admit I found beginning of the story confusing- mixing up Adele with Evie…it made more sense later.
