I love this book because it is authentic. I also love my traditions and how my culture has shaped my beliefs. I agree that monogamy is outdated and unrealistic. Been married, was cheated on. Dated,
been cheated on. I call it cheating still :) will I ever find monogamy? Probably not, but I don’t depend on it for my happiness anymore. I’ll get a dog and a community to fulfil my needs - I’ve had enough horrible and nice relationships to tie me over until my inevitable death. I wholeheartedly agree on being enlightened and loving yourself. But I hope my ideal of
finding a monogamous relationship will happen - it would be nice :) I would never become a psychologist because you have to see everyone’s perspective and I’m sure psychologists are some of the most enlightened people but I choose to keep some of my cultures traditions in tact! Great listen! Enjoyed the book over all.

Gosh!!! this book is a game changer. I can already feel my marriage is on another level, I personally was not in a good space in my marriage I was disconnected to myself. I'm more open and more secure in myself and my body. This book spoke to my soul. I view people in a very different way now. I understand why lots of people are the way they are. It helps me to forgive them if they hurt me, as I can see they cannot help it, its a pattern that they are unaware of. I was living in pattern, I'm a mother of 3, all I want is my kids to know who they are, and fulfil their purpose in this life, and be the mother where they can feel safe with and know they can come to me for anything and that I'm open to listen to them and not judge them. I felt judged most of my life. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to awaken and become more of aware of themselves. This book makes you strongly aware of yourself and your ego in everything you do. You much more mindful. A suggestion : Meditation will help you take this teaching more deeper. DR Shefali You are an amazing person. Dont stop the work you are doing.
