KAT
My prestigious new job as the assistant to a colony leader starts as an honor. Then I stumble across the colony’s dirty little secrets. Hell-bent on exposing the atrocities, I reach out to a rebel group to feed them information.

Too quickly, the jig is up. I manage one last message to my rebel contact, Zach, before I’m locked in the mad councilman’s basement.

When Trask arrives, he claims to be my contact. He’s huge and horned with wings that darken the sky. I know he’s lying because Zach is human, but when the monster steals me into the air, I hold on for dear life.

TRSAK
Kat has risked everything and played a critical role in keeping everyone in our stronghold safe. So when I receive her desperate message, I embark on a rescue mission. I refuse to leave anyone—Kadrixan or human—behind. Especially her.

I venture into the heart of enemy territory to find the little human. But when I finally have her in my arms and tell her I am Zach, my little Kat doesn’t believe me!

I am a patient warrior, though. Once we’re safe, I have forever to convince Kat she is mine. But first, I need to get us out of here.

A Monster’s Fate is a sci-fi alien romance with a growly hero, lots of action, and an HEA, guaranteed. This series has dystopian themes. Best enjoyed as part of a series.

I really enjoyed the dynamic of the characters in this book. Lynnea Lee brings something fresh with each installment of this series. These books could be described as a reflection on the human condition. I enjoyed learning about Kat's character, and loved the dynamic between Trsak and Kat. I continue to enjoy learning bits and pieces about the Kadrixian's background and other elements of this world. The author continues to deftly build this world while keeping the reader hooked and wanting more. I also enjoy the Kadrixian mating ritual. These beings really are fresh in terms of their background. I hope the next audiobook comes out soon. I really enjoy how Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott bring these characters to life in each book.

it was good. I liked the epilogue. the main female lead had her stupid moments but it worked out. they need to stop bringing so many humans back to the other colony. they are so ungrateful. the narrators were good as usual. it main male lead was good. story could have been developed more. it has potential

Another entertaining story about the Kadrixan Warriors! Kat has been working “undercover” with Zach to expose the horrible actions of her boss, one of the leaders of the Human colony. She gets rescued by the Kadrixan warrior Trsak just before she is about to be locked up. During their flight Trsak finds out Kat is his mate and the attraction is mutual. However there is no immediate happy ending, they have several serious difficulties and adventures on their path. I loved the story, the excitement and adventure, some humor! But also how all the characters fight against the injustices and cruelties of Nova Vita’s leaders. I am sure there will be at least one other book in this series where the fight against Exotech and Nova Vita’s leaders continues.

Both narrators did again a great job, both a solid 4.85 stars (I didn’t like some voiced they used but those were only a few sentences)

I definitely recommend this book and this author and I am looking forward to the next in this series.

This was a relaxing, entertaining, and easy listen.

I liked Kat. She had her own agenda and was actively trying to work against the regime, even when it was dangerous. I enjoyed that she wasn’t just waiting to be saved, but had her own cause, anger, and choices.

She could also be frustrating at times, especially in how she reacted to being saved. But emotions are not always logical, and that made her feel more human. I could understand why Trask was confused by her, but I could also understand why she felt the way she did.

Trask was consistently likable. He was protective, patient, and emotionally understandable without becoming irritatingly possessive.

Overall, this was an enjoyable addition to the series, with action, rebellion, emotional tension, and a romance that worked for me.

Initially, although I liked the first book in this series, I felt like I enjoyed the Tallean and Xarc n Warriors series a little bit better. However, after completing the 4th book in the Kadrixan series, I found I like the storyline and character portrayals just as well as the first two series I read by Lynnea Lee. And, the series aren’t just cookbook repeats of similar characters, plots, and alien worlds which keeps the reader engaged in want to read the next book in the series.
