Pam Houston is like Stevie Nicks of book-writing. Everything she does is incredible and inspiring and honest. Wish there were 50 more books like it.

The best, as usual.

For an author who places important in the grand places of the West, it would be best to get a narrator that can actually pronounce those places. Uintas. Tetons. Seriously!

Pronunciation matters

Pam Houston has done it again. A gorgeous collection of stories about adventure, travel, love, and dogs.

Breathtakingly, achingly beautiful prose

Not as great as when Pam narrates herself. Mispronounced common words like cat scratches, but thankfully they're not super frequent. Luckily Pam's writing carries her own voice so well.

Another great Pam Houston book

Overall I loved this book. Pam Houston has had so many adventures that are worthy of reading/hearing, and she tells them in a very entertaining and relatable way. However, frequent mispronunciations and misplaced pauses by the narrator - whose voice is otherwise nice to listen to - are quite annoying.

Great writing, not the best performance
