For Jacob Shelton, life was anything but conventional, having been born with a silver spoon in his mouth even though it was a loveless existence.

Jacob hoped there was more to life than money and was about to find out the hard way.

Richard Worthington longs for a boy of his own. One to nurture and care for, pamper and spoil. His friends in the lifestyle found their forever partners, so why’s it so difficult for him to find the same? Sugar baby after sugar baby leaves Richard wondering if it’s worth it.

Their paths cross in a chance meeting, though it’s a life-or-death decision that ultimately brings them together.

This is an MM daddy/little Christmas twist on The Little Princess Classic tale. Each age-play romance book in this multi-author series can be listened to as a standalone.

I wish I had seen “Daddy” meet his old boy with his new one, that would have been good!

Daddy’s patience

Brennan Murphy does beautifully in bringing Jacob and his daddy Richard to life. He does great in distinguishing both characters where you feel their connection and want to see how it grows. A well done audiobook and look forward to more from this narrarator.

Jacob has had a rough go at life and on his 18th birthday life goes from rough to worse being kicked out from the place he called home. When Richard spots Jacob in front of a toy shop and accidentally scares him off he knows something is special about this boy. when someone comes looking for him Richard is able to take him in and give him the life hes always deserved. I absolutely adore the sincerity of both these men and Claudette, the housekeeper, who welcomed him fully in. What makes this story so sweet was yes it was a slow burn but it was for a reason. These two needed the time to allow the other in and be ready for this commitment. A beautiful story and cannot wait to read of Orion and his daddy next!

I loved this book. Brennan Murphy's voice really brings this story to life. Jacob schooling is paid for until one day that all changes and on his eighteenth birthday he is thrown out without any help. When a man talks to him at a shop window he runs away scared. Richard Worthington spots a young man talking to himself about a train set in front of Tipton toy shop. When he speaks to him the boy runs. He wonders what happened to the boy when he sees a woman asking if anyone has seen the boy. Richard goes out and searches for the Jacob and finds him but he's sick and hurt. Richard is a daddy and sees the little in Jacob. Will Jacob be able to trust and love Richard?
