OMG! I loved the MK series and couldn't wait to find out who Hades was. I love Hades. I might have a girl crush on her. I am very intrigued about how Lucas, Zed, and Cass are going to interact with each other and eventually become Hades's harem. That ending though is crazy! I can't wait to see what will happen next.

So far this series is good. But you need to read the Madison Kate series first. It’s been a minute since I first read that series so this one is a little confusing. It seems like this one starts where the Madison Kate series left off and there are lots of references to that series in this book. Other than that, this series pulls you in from the beginning and a steamy scene one chapter in. The only problem I have is the FMC is continuously pulling a weapon on her friends (allies) when she gets annoyed. I don’t know if the author thinks this makes her seem more badass, but to me me, it makes her come across as immature. The author even makes a reference to someone telling the FMC, “don’t aim a gun at someone unless you’re going to shoot”, yet she does it with nearly every interaction. Not badass, kinda pathetic.
I’m so glad the author chose to go with dual narration and these two knocked it out of the park! They take this book to a whole other level.
