Janet Hong is an award-winning writer and translator based in Vancouver, Canada. She has translated more than twenty-five books, and her work has been widely recognized. She has been a mentor in ALTA’s Emerging Translator Mentorship Program since 2020. Her debut novel, When We Swallowed the Sea, is forthcoming from Flatiron Books in 2027.
