A Breed Novella.

Hope Bainesmith believed Wolfe, the breed she’d known as a young woman in the labs, was dead, but he was only waiting for the right time to claim her. The scientist who created him, Hope's mother, has waited long enough. She wants her creation back, and she wants any children that may result from their bond. He is a man whose DNA was altered with the genetic code of the wolf. A male unlike any other. Now Hope must convince her mate she hasn't betrayed him, and they must defeat the plans of a scientist gone mad.

Think you’d need to have read at least some of the previous books for this one to be enjoyed the most. It was a great addition & giving us more in site to the wolves from the Mexico lab, we heard a little about these characters in Dash & Elizabeth’s story. Terrific narration by Brianna Bronte.

Great novella in the series

I loved the story, but way too short! I’m impressed with the characterization by the reader. Just enough to build a good plot. Really leaves me watching more!

So, let me get this straight: once bitten with the mate bond, human Hope gets violently ill if she even kisses another man, but Wolfe, an alpha of his pack, believes she had sex with not one, but two other men at the same time? He was experimented on for years by Hope’s mom and witnessed all her manipulative ways … and yet Wolfe believes the story Hope’s mom spins of Hope’s infidelity?
He goes fives years without tracking Hope down to consummate their bond? Then he “tortures” the truth out of her by sexing her up and denying her the Big O? And, c’mon! A wolf shifter named Wolfe?

I suppose you could put this into ‘so bad, it’s good’ territory.
What I couldn’t forgive, however, was him forcing sex onto a tied, unwilling woman.

He’s not worthy
