Brea is truly sweet, innocent and pious. Bryant Cutter has claimed her only to shut down everyone else. Always her best friend but definitely not an innocent. He’s publicly claimed her to shut down the dangerous player One-Mile Pierce Walker.

Brea is drawn to him, lit afire by him. While she would do anything for Cutter, the only man she’ll give everything to is Pierce. He hold not just her body but her heart.

His job is dangerous and he is danger. It oozes from his pores. When he finds himself in a situation he cannot escape from, he learns that he loves the girl that occupies every space in his mind, his pretty girl, Brea.

This book end with an emotional cliffhanger. He’s confessed his hell to her and is called to duty. Brea will either stay or run and he’s worried about the latter.

Good narration. Now for book 2!!

I love this narrator. Honestly anything he reads, I’m down. The story is also so compelling. Cliffhanger made me immediately start the second book. Can’t wait to hear more!
