Three demons. One woman.

In a dystopian world where women are scarce and fertility rates are declining, Charlotte is captured and sold to three powerful demons. Shes brought into a household filled with secrets, deception, and simmering desire. As truths unfold, she confronts painful realities about the world she thought she knew, and the men who purchased her.

The female decline was swift.

Birth rates dropped at an alarming rate, and within years, men across all realms grew restless and aggressive. Their desperation led to women being collected at birth and sold at auction, and humans gradually became one of the most sought after.

Parents began hiding their daughters, birthing and stowing their females underground in a desperate attempt to keep them safe.

Charlotte is one of them.

Hidden from the men who would tear her family apart to get to her, she’s accepted that she’ll live her entire life within the thick walls of her childhood home.

When the human government permits a large-scale raid, Charlotte is one of the unlucky women caught. Forced out of hiding and thrown into the home of three powerful demons, Charlotte must learn how to stay alive in a world she’s only experienced through stories from her parents.

I really wanted to love this book. I liked it really up until the point that the book started delving into the FMC. She was so annoying in the fact she acted like she cared about Gray but then knew she was literally starving him and acted more like a spoiled child who would cry. Her character could have been so much more with such an interesting storyline but I found she never seemed truly grateful given the horrible things we heard in the beginning of the book that women endured and there’s really nothing about her that comes across as special so it starts to be very unbelievable that she snares three powerful demons. How? Just became implausible and not well developed with little to no world building. I was disappointed because it had the bones to be so much more!

Gray and Silas were the good redeemable highlights otherwise I found the FMC annoying

I know she’s sheltered and naive but I’m not sure I can handle her beyond book 1

Great story but annoying MFC

I enjoyed the book. don't really have anything negative to say about it and am def interested in seei g where the next book goes but I wish they had either picked someone else to do Charlie's voice or had just read the actual book myself. the female narrator sounded too old to me and I didn't really connect with the level of emotions I probably should have been feeling deeply. it all felt very . . . surface level to me, which was disappointing but but i did enjoy the male narrators. esp the one who did Gray's. i think he did the best with the emotions of his internal struggles and i hope we get to see more of others guy's in the upcoming books. over all the story itself was good.

not bad

I should’ve listened to the sample before I purchased. Like damn! What a waste of a monthly credit! This book has a great storyline but that’s not what this review is about! It’s about the fact that the entire book is ruined by the narrators!! Ughhhhhh if I were the author I’d sue!!

Oooooof Who Approves these Narrators!!
