Jack has been alone, without a partner on his own for sometime, when he runs into a person from his past. His father was once married to the woman who now stands before him, and although their age difference isn't that great, he hesitates to reintroduce himself. However, the temptation is too great to reconnect with her and he makes his move. When she finally sees the man he's grown into, they exchange telephone numbers to reconnect at a later date. While his calls go unanswered, he meets her oddly enough on an airplane ride to a job interview.
