My daughter, author LP Maxa, told me about this series. She knows I like funny, strong female characters and stories light on angst. This book was perfect for me. Going to start the second book today.

The story could have been shorter. it's a 25plus chapter slow burn . I read RH for the spice. MFC is a little annoying. the 4 male characters are also annoying.
I'm on chapter 24 but idk if I can finish. the male narrator is not voicing the male parts (maybe budget issue) but he's annoying me now too the Voice narrator lol. maybe it's my tism but I solved the issue by chapter 7 and i really wanted to like it. I'm from Philly. I work in the northern Pa area too .FYI ... they should have included the lycans near Franklin county in southern Pa too
