Any additional comments?
I'm glad I did. I read the books of the Inside Out series first, but didn't think I'd get into the journal entries. I'm not a fan of BDSM normally, but it's okay to read on occasion. The journal entries have enough sex to be hot, but are really more of what a private journal usually is -- insight into the writer's innermost thoughts and feelings. As for the last part that is the master's story, I really feel it humanizes Mark in a way the full-size books in this series haven't (maybe couldn't). I'm so glad it was included and I loved the narrator's voice.
In my opinion, this collection is not stand-alone. You really need the context of the whole series for all of this to make sense. Since I'd recommend the whole series, that's not a drawback for me. This series was my first experience with this author and I find that her books are the kind you want to finish in one sitting.
I was reluctant to order this, but . . .
