As usual the first in the series is the best (I've jut finished book 3)... I really liked it for a number of reasons, firstly because it didn't revolve around vampire culture- How refreshing!Secondly, the sexual tension burned from the first to last page.. Hot! Thirdly, strong but vulnerable characters written into a smart paranormal story with a good amount of action, laughter and moving moments. I also loved the authentic, cultural sounding language... "Haven spell" and "dermoi" (I'm just guessing how to spell that) just to name a few. Im a bit over the series now.. But this one is worth the credit I think. Oh yeah and the narrator was pretty good too.

I tried this series as i liked the preview sample and i am so glad i did. This is an awesome book that i didn't see it coming The story is fabulous and kept me very entertained till the very end. What an excellent job Larissa Ione has done. To top it all of Cassandra Campbell has done the best job with the narration. I have purchased the rest in the series and the second book is as good if not better than the first. One of the Best series i have listened to in ages but be warned that this book includes lot's of wonderful hot sex.. :).What an awesome surprise - WOW
