Recipient of the Romance Writers of America's Lifetime Achievement Award, best-selling author Elizabeth Lowell heats things up once again. The Only series, including Only Love, continues with this sensuous tale of fiery passions in the old-time wild West.

Desired by many, cardsharp Evelyn Starr Johnson will go to any lengths to recover the treasure map stolen from her murdered foster parents. It's her deal, and she antes up the only thing she has left--her innocence. Staring coolly at the killers across the poker table, Evelyn deals the winning hand to the handsome, unsuspecting sharpshooter Matt "Reno" Moran. But when she takes off with his winnings, Reno vows to hunt her down. He wants the beauty he desires with all his soul. Richard Ferrone's versatile narration not only captures the tension of the high stakes poker game, but also sweeps listeners into the sizzling tension between Evelyn and Reno. Lowell's flair for creating romantic, lusty drama is unsurpassed.

My Thoughts

Reno was a A**hole the entire book. Needed to grovel but didn’t. Eve was too forgiving.

Better than #2 not as good as #1

Narrator:Richard Ferrone did a good enough job/ or I'm getting used to his voice. >
Liked this one better than the second book(Only Mine)
Though I think that the heroines (3 so far) all come out as strong minded women do not make the men grovel enough at the end.
But just the same, I will continue to the end of the series. For I do remember that the 3 last ones I did like very much when I first read them in print.

#3 Better than the second book

I enjoy relationships. Some spiciness is fine, even quite a lot of hot encounters, but in my view, this came off as barely 15% actual human romance, as in, people getting to know each other, and about 85% rather routine ho-hum boinking.
I did read it to the end, but despite having very much liked nearly everything else by Elizabeth Lowell, this one was formulaic and only so-so.

I enjoy hot, but this was nearer to orn
