Guy Baldoni’s narration had me hooked from the very first scene. Morganna Williams’ story pulls you in and takes you on an assassination thriller adventure worthy of a Tom Clancy novel. I felt like I was listening to an old-fashioned radio play — heroes, villains, and plot twists galore!
Baldoni brings Williams’ multi-dimensional characters to vivid life through a variety of well-executed accents and exceptional points of view. The relationship between Abigail and Jericho is alive, engaging, and at times extremely intimate, warm, touching, and delightfully humorous. Their love story alone could stand as a romance novella.
And the sex scenes! OMG! “Hot and steamy” doesn’t even begin to describe them. Simultaneous orgasms through narration?! Extended orgasms masterfully and realistically acted out. Spoiler alert… keep plenty of tissues on hand!
I am officially a Williams/Baldoni fan and hope to hear many more audiobook collaborations from this very talented duo.
