Marie James has interesting ideas for stories. I liked the idea of the sports romance, but the other kinks and tropes were ... a bit much.

So I thought the story itself was good. Nothing absolutely fantastic, but still had some surprising moments. The only thing I had an issue with was the fact that one of the MC’s was still in high school. I know he was of age but the fact that the other MC was an accomplished adult just made it all feel icky. If the story took place at a college then I would have felt differently. Otherwise the story was good.

I have read this book multiple times and when Marie James released the audio, I couldn’t buy it fast enough. Love any book Teddy Hamilton narrates.
