Carter, Claire and Gavin have formed the perfect little family. Their friends are getting married and everyone is growing up, maturing and ready to face the future. Or are they? From bachelorette party hell, porn addictions, dinner roll baseball and botched wedding proposals to finding out everyone's extended family is chock full of crazy, Carter and Claire begin to question the strength of the ties that bind them. Unfortunately, these ties have nothing to do with fuzzy handcuffs and everything to do with the mounting differences between them. Will their friends make a mess of things with their inappropriate comments and need to know everything, or will they convince the couple that happily-ever-after sometimes really can start with beer pong?

Warning: Contains sex, drugs, and rock n roll. Wait, no. Just sex and drugs. And booze and filthy language. Do not listen if you have no sense of humor.

I enjoyed the outrageous characters, behavior and language of this series. It is light entertainment and only for those who aren't offended by the language. I was frustrated by the reader's inability to differentiate between male and female characters which is particularly problematic as the chapters alternate from the point of view of a male and a female character, and it is impossible to tell who is talking by tone of voice alone.

Crude and Silly Fun

Another fun and hilarious story by Tara Sivec. I enjoyed the fist book in the series so much, I had to get this one as well.

Great story

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes - I would recommend it to any human who likes laughter and happiness.

What other book might you compare Futures and Frosting to and why?

Any funny romances - I hate comparing!

Would you listen to another book narrated by Romy Nordlinger?

Not if I could help it. Sorry!

If you could rename Futures and Frosting, what would you call it?

I wouldn't - it's a perfect title for this book.

Any additional comments?

Great follow up to Seduction and Snacks - if you love these characters, you will love this book.

Equally as hilarious at the first book!

I know these are the author's first published books but it's so weird to have a dual POV in the story but have only one narrator. I think Romy Nordlinger does a fine job. I just have a hard time with the same voice throughout the entire story.

This is the sequel to Seduction and Snacks, following Claire and Carter a little further into their lives.

It's irreverent in a good way (if you like that sort of thing), filled with humor (all kinds), and there's never any doubt that Carter has been in love with Claire and will remain that way for the rest of their lives.

I don't want to discourage anyone from reading this story - it's not really my type, since I've never really understood the kind of friends group that talks to one another about everything, no matter how personal. I really did enjoy the getting to the HEA, but it's not likely that I'll read the third book, nor would these go on my 'want to read again' list.

This was not as funny as the first one but it was still funny especially the sex store scene. I love that Carter and Claire got married and had another baby. I can't wait to continue this series.
